Truffle Farm Access & Inclusion

We are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for all guests and will always do our best to accommodate individual needs where possible.

FARM GATE SALES

Our Farm Gate shop is fully accessible for guests visiting for product purchases only. We have an accessible car parking space located immediately adjacent to the Farm Gate shop entrance. The terrain surrounding this parking space and the shop entrance is bitumen on a slight slope. Our onsite bathroom facilities are unfortunately not wheelchair accessible and are available only for our Truffle Hunt & Tasting Experience guests.

TRUFFLE HUNT & TASTING EXPERIENCES

Our truffle hunts take place in a working orchard with natural terrain. This includes sloping ground, uneven surfaces, and grassed areas that may be muddy or slippery, particularly during winter. Guests are required to walk approximately 100–200 metres from the parking area to the orchard, and a similar distance back to the tasting room.

While this environment can present challenges for some guests, it is not necessarily a barrier for everyone. We encourage you to get in touch with us prior to booking to discuss your individual needs so we can determine whether the experience is suitable and explore any adjustments we can make.

For guests who may prefer not to participate in the truffle hunt, we can arrange tasting-only experiences upon request.

Our tasting room is located close to the parking area, with an accessible car park available immediately adjacent to the entrance. The shop is fully accessible for guests visiting for product purchases only. The tasting room includes seating; however, due to the small group nature of our experiences (maximum 8 guests), we recommend private bookings for guests who may require additional rest time or flexibility in pacing.

Please note that our on-site bathroom is not wheelchair accessible due to doorway width and space constraints.

Our experiences take place in a natural farm environment. This means there may be occasional noise from dogs or nearby farm activity, and truffles themselves have a strong natural aroma that may not suit everyone.

We provide information verbally during the experience and welcome questions from our guests. We are also happy to provide written information or follow-up resources upon request.

In terms of dietary requirements, we can accommodate gluten-free diets with prior notice, although we cannot guarantee the absence of cross-contamination in our small kitchen. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate vegan diets due to the nature of our truffle tasting menu.

We are always happy to have a conversation with you prior to booking. If you have any access requirements or questions about what to expect, please don’t hesitate to contact us — we will do our best to ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Please call Katherine for a chat via her Mobile on: 0424 831 381.

FUTURE DEVELOPMENTS

We are excited to share that our future development of an accessible Farm Gate shop and Tasting Room is planned for completion by 2029. These plans also include short-stay tourist accommodation, including accessible options. We are also developing plans to increase the accessibility of our farm tours and truffle hunts.
